The bottle should be kept upright, protected from light and at a cool and constant temperature.

Serving temperature

The wine benefits from being served between 16ºC to 18ºC. The particular qualities of this wine allow it to be enjoyed over an extended period of time once opened, without losing its freshness and vibrancy. Optimum drinking time after opening the bottle is two months.

Pairing suggestions

Taylor’s Select Ruby is an excellent wine, particularly with ripe, blue cheeses. It should be served at room temperature.

Taylor’s Select Ruby Port is blended from wines carefully selected from Taylor’s extensive reserves.

Produced in the finest vineyards of the Douro Valley. They are carefully chosen for their depth of colour, full body and intense fruit character.

Tasting Notes

A deep, ruby-red hue with a garnet rim. The nose is classic, with intense aromas of black fruits. The palate is firm and robust, full-bodied, with bold, ripe fruit flavours and a long, persistent finish.
