Taylor's to release a Quinta de Vargellas 2013 Vintage Port

 

During the first days of the 2013 harvest, picking conditions were near perfect and exceptional wines made. Due to its location in the warm eastern reaches of the Douro Valley, Quinta de Vargellas was the first Taylor property to start harvesting.  Its finest wines had been made before the heavy rains of the end of September and winemakers’ notes report deeply coloured, aromatic musts.  The Quinta de Vargellas 2013 Vintage Port displays the elegance, poise and distinctive scented quality which are the hallmarks of the wines of this famous property.

 

The Quinta de Vargellas 2013 will not be offered for sale now but will be cellared for release at a later date to help satisfy market demand for mature single quinta Vintage Port.
