From the 28th March to the 3rd April, Taylor Fladgate took part in one of world’s premier consumer wine events, the Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival.
This year’s event had fortified wines as its global theme and featured a week of tastings, dinners and symposiums hosted at the Vancouver Convention Centre and top Vancouver restaurants and hotels.
Moderated by the distinguished Canadian wine writer Anthony Gismondi and presented by CEO Adrian Bridge and chief wine maker David Guimaraens, the tasting featured an exceptional vertical of classic Vintage Ports from Taylor Fladgate and its sister houses Fonseca and Croft, including such iconic wines as the Taylor Fladgate 2007, 1985 and 1994 (the latter awarded a 100 point score by Wine Spectator). In addition to the tastings, Taylor Fladgate also took part in the seminar "How will you sell your wines in the future”, a debate focused on new marketing and promotional trends.
